Kent-Athlone Pharma Group signs charter for Mindful Employer

The Kent-Athlone Pharma Group, a rapidly growing speciality European pharmaceuticals company, is pleased to announce that it has signed the Charter for Employers Positive About Mental Health, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.

Established in 2004, Mindful Employer is a UK-wide initiative run by Devon Partnership NHS Trust. Providing employers with easier access to professional workplace mental health training, information and support, the initiative aims to help empower employers to take a lead in supporting the mental wellbeing of their staff. By signing the ‘Charter for Employer Positive About Mental Health’, Kent-Athlone Pharma Group has made a public statement of its desire to support the mental health of its staff across the organisation.

By signing the Charter, Kent-Athlone Pharma Group is committed to upholding key principles, including providing non-judgemental and proactive support for employees experiencing mental ill-health, promoting fair and inclusive recruitment practices, and equipping line managers with the tools and knowledge to effectively support mental health in the workplace. The initiative also reinforces the company’s stance on eliminating stigma and encouraging open, supportive dialogue around mental wellbeing.
